Terms and Conditions for Joining the “Better English for the Modern Student” Book Readers Club
- Acceptance of Terms
By joining the “Better English for the Modern Student” Book Readers Club, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before enrolling. - Membership Eligibility
Membership is open to anyone currently reading “Better English for the Modern Student” or those interested in improving their English skills. The club is also open to teachers, educators, and English enthusiasts. - Membership Benefits
As a member, you will receive access to exclusive resources, including:- Additional exercises, worksheets, and quizzes.
- Live webinars and Q&A sessions with the author or his representatives.
- Participation in discussion forums with fellow learners.
- Weekly study guides and tips.
- Special discounts on future books and CELPS resources.
- Priority access to new content and updates.
- Membership Fees
Membership to the “Better English for the Modern Student” Book Readers Club may be subject to fees, which will be outlined at the time of enrollment. All fees are non-refundable once paid. - Upgrades, Downgrades, and Cancellations
- Immediate Upgrades/Downgrades: If you choose to upgrade or downgrade your membership immediately, a prorated invoice will be generated and must be paid. If the invoice payment fails, the subscription will not be updated. In the case of a downgrade, the invoice may have a $0 balance, and any credit will be applied to your account.
- Scheduled Upgrades/Downgrades: If you opt to upgrade or downgrade at the next billing period, your subscription will not be updated until the next payment date.
- Immediate Cancellations: If you cancel your membership immediately, your subscription will be canceled right away.
- End-of-Period Cancellations: If you cancel at the end of your billing period, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Failed Payments
- Past Due Subscriptions: If a payment fails, your subscription will be marked as past due. We will automatically retry the payment using smart retry logic. If the payment is still unsuccessful after one week, your subscription will be canceled.
- Code of Conduct
Members are expected to maintain a respectful and supportive environment within the club. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of membership without a refund. - Content and Intellectual Property
All materials provided as part of your membership, including but not limited to exercises, webinars, and discussion content, are the intellectual property of Iddrisu Mumuni Dimbie and CELPS. These materials are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or sold without express permission. - Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By joining the club, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy. - Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes via email or through the club platform. Continued use of your membership after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms. - Termination of Membership
You may cancel your membership at any time. We also reserve the right to terminate your membership for violation of these Terms and Conditions or for any conduct deemed harmful to the club or its members. - Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
By joining the “Better English for the Modern Student” Book Readers Club, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
